Directions
The Shelter is located on Rte 639 off of Rte 211 at the county landfill in Amissville, Virginia.

From Washington D.C.:
- From the Capitol Beltway {495} take {66} West for 22 miles and exit onto {29} South to Gainesville
- Drive 11 miles to the big interchange, stay right and get onto {211} West
- Follow {211} as it takes you through Warrenton (2 miles) and then turn right at light and continue on {211} for another 10 miles
- You will see a blue highway sign for the shelter where {639} intersects {211}
- Turn right onto {639} and travel a little under a mile. Go through the gate and the shelter is the building on the right
